Seriously, Heist Recordings is absolutely killing it this year. (audio)
While I have tried to venture outside of Heist Recordings to check out what’s new in the world of house music, it just so happens that Heist Recordings consistently puts out the best house music around these days. And I’ll be damned if Kassian’s “Love 4:2” isn’t yet another trophy to add to the wall for this year for the label. This deep house banger seems to be bit of a throw back for the label; employing some classic Rhodesian-esque keys that pepper the track. But where the track really shines is in that inescapable bass line that absolutely dominates the mix. Add in some absolutely groovy drums that have some really weight to them and you have yet another dance floor destroyer from Heist Recordings.
Seriously, it should be illegal to release this many good tracks in one year.
Kassian’s The Premise EP is out now!
