Mayer Hawthorne’s latest is a glorious call back to 80’s rare groove! (audio)

 

It seems like the influence of Mayer Hawthorne’s guest vocal for Bobby Caldwell’s Cool Uncle project rubbed off on him. On this newly released track from Mayer Hawthorne’s soon to be released album, Man About Town, Hawthorne goes full Caldwell and Boz Scaggs and creates a beautiful nod to 80’s rare groove that sure to put a smile on your face.
